Construction begins on New Brittany Corporate Center

FORT MYERS, FL – Construction is now underway on New Brittany Corporate Center, a two-story medical and professional office building at the corner of New Brittany Boulevard and Cambridge Manor Drive, in the College Parkway business district. Enthusiastic members of the development team gathered on site April 2 for the official groundbreaking ceremony.

The striking new office center has frontage on three streets, ample parking for medical practices, and easy access to College Parkway, Cleveland Avenue, and Summerlin Road. Real estate broker Rodney A. Fidler, Jr., CCIM, of Fidler Real Estate Services, Inc. is presently leasing custom office space from 1,000 to 11,200 sq. ft. New Brittany Corporate Center also features covered parking, which is being offered as an option to tenants on a first come basis. Occupancy is scheduled for this fall.

The building facade incorporates a radius to accentuate the corner site and create a distinctive new look within the surrounding community of professional and medical offices. Extensive window placements will provide scenic views in all directions, while dark green architectural awnings will provide a traditional look, matching the hipped metal roofs.

The site selection and architecture are designed to meet strong market demand for upscale office space in the College Parkway business district. According to Rodney A. Fidler, Jr. successful professionals and medical practices want offices that stand out from the crowd, offer plenty of parking, and are engineered for high speed telecommunications and Internet access. Rodney A. Fidler, Jr., CCIM of Fidler Real Estate Services, Inc., coordinated site selection and acquisition for the project. Architectural design is by Sheeley Architects, engineering services are provided by Bean, Whitaker, Lutz & Kareh, and Brooks & Freund is the construction manager.

Financing is provided by SunTrust Bank. Lease rates and availability may be obtained from Rodney A. Fidler, Jr., CCIM,

Mr. Fidler noted that ORBIS Properties is clearly determined to establish a quality reputation in Southwest Florida with the development of Colonial Executive Park and New Brittany Corporate Center. The company has identified a number of development opportunities in this market and is evaluating prime locations for future projects.
