Charles Gabler has 23 years of experience in developing and managing commercial real estate in markets throughout the United States. Immediately prior to forming Orbis, he had been a portfolio and asset manager for a subsidiary of MetLife in charge of a nationwide portfolio of office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, and industrial parks with an aggregate value of more than $400 million. He managed office buildings and retail complexes in as diverse locations as West Palm Beach, Boston, Chicago and Seattle. His Lee County experience dates to 1985 when he created the initial development of Riverwalk at Whiskey Creek, an office park located on College Parkway in South Fort Myers. He also served as co-managing partner for the entity that developed the Brown & Brown Building in the Colonial Executive Park. |

Prior to forming Orbis Properties with Charles Gabler in 2000, Max Kamhi developed and managed small multi-family residential properties in New York City. Acting as principal, he managed the acquisition, renovation, leasing, and sale of the properties. In 2006, he co-founded LifeScience Logistics (LSL), a third-party logistics provider specializing in the secure warehousing and distribution of temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals, surgical supplies, and medical devices. He currently chairs the Board and previously served as CFO, with particular responsibility for acquiring and developing the warehouse facilities, which are now fully operational. His prior experience includes work as a financial analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., with a focus on mergers and acquisitions of banks and insurance companies. He earned a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
